Celebrating Coffee And It's Original
Place Of Discovery,
The coffee plant originates in Ethiopia. According to legend, in 850 AD a goat herder named Kaldi in the region of Kaffa discovered the coffee plant after noticing the energizing effect the plant had on his flock after eating the berries. Kaldi brought a pocket full of berries home, where he then shared them with his wife who encouraged him to take them to the monastery at Lake Tana. He did, but the monks did not react as how he had expected. “It is devils work!” the monk exclaimed as he threw the berries into a camp fire.
The aroma was so toasty and inviting that it couldn't be ignored.
